Behind the Lens

Here’s a few things about me…

  1. Outdoors is my sanctuary. Whether it’s hiking, skateboarding, or just laying on the beach.

  2. I’m a science teacher! I’ve taught everything from Physics, Biology to Earth Science, but am currently teaching STEM and working at getting students into those fields after High School.

  3. I’m a board game junkie though and through. My favorite of all time is Dune Imperium.

  4. I love reading when I get a chance. Fantasy and Science are my preferred. When I don’t get the chance, I’m usually listening to an audiobook.

  5. While I’ve gotten to travel to some pretty spectacular places, Asheville, NC holds a special place in my heart.

  6. I’m an ESports coach! While I love all forms of gaming, Super Smash Bros., Baulder’s Gate and The Elder Scrolls are my favorite to play at the moment.

  7. Pizza was my first love in life. While it comes in many delicious forms, wood fired pizza with ricotta and Calabrian Chili peppers is my current favorite.

  8. Big fan of podcast. Ologies is probably my favorite if I had to choose, but I also listen to an assortment of DnD ones.

  9. The pretty lady falling off the longboard next to my is my partner in crime. If you’re lucky, she might be the one second shooting your wedding.

Come photo time, I don’t want you to feel like you have to shrink yourself or fit into a box. We’re inclusive, all about who you are, and want to capture the nuances of your love— whatever it is.

What are We About?

Above all, we value your experience most. When the lights go out at the reception, and it's time to go home, we want you to come away from your photo experience thinking it was easy and effortless. We want you to have fun, enjoy your day how you planned, and spend time with the people you love best.

For us, accomplishing that takes connection, planning, and authenticity. We want to get to know you — after all, I’m going to be your professional third wheel. We want want to plan for you, taking as much off your plate. And we want to be ourselves so you can be too.

Then comes our product. Our timeless style is multi-layered. Expect some documentary shooting with no direction, some candid photos with minimal direction, as well as some posed photos. All the while, we aim for moody, elegant, and playful moments, which are complemented well by our editing style.
